Swim Gallery presents ANGEL VISION, a visual group exhibition featuring So-Cal based artists Daieny Chin and Sickid; and Bay Area based artist Ian Wheelock. Please join us Friday, January 24 from 6-9 PM for the opening reception.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Daieny Chin (@luvpuppies4evr ) was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and moved to Los Angeles in 1995. Chin grew up in a multicultural household and mixed-status family. They studied painting at San Francisco Art Institute. Currently, they reside in Los Angeles, CA with their dog, Alfie.

Sickid (@sickid1) is a graffiti artist and painter from Los Angeles California, who works primarily in acrylic on canvas.

Ian Wheelock (@ian.wheelock) is an Oakland based pop artist with a BFA from California College of the Arts. With a focus on painting and screenprinting, Ian’s work touches on consumerism in a satirical tone borrowing from the language of cartoons and animation. Ian also currently publishes his own comic SPIRALAND with Oakland risograph institution FLOSS Editions.
